2003 IQCA audit completed

In Australia the IQCA scheme plays a significant
role in determining the quality of data collection
in the market research industry.
A team of six quality assurance auditors has just
completed the audit program for 2003. This year
107 companies were accredited in 130 locations
across Australia. These auditors have both market
research knowledge and experience within the wider
quality assurance industry. .
Participating IQCA companies can be accredited
in six different categories of interviewing practice:

- Door to Door Interviewing
- Central Location Interviewing
- Business Interviewing – face to face
(by fieldforce only)
- Telephone Interviewing
- Audits and Observational Studies
- Recruitment for Qualitative Research
IQCA offers accreditation for companies with
a field team in any of the six categories of interviewing
practice. The accreditation is conferred on a
particular location where the company operates
and refers to a particular category of interviewing
practice.
The annual IQCA audit assures buyers that IQCA
accredited suppliers are able to provide quality
fieldwork carried out in accordance with best
industry practice.
