MRQA is a subcommittee of AMSRO as of December
2006 its role is to oversee quality standards
in Australia. Part of this role is to oversee
the new IQCA for smaller organisations while there
is demand.
MRQA Council
is made up of AMSRS members and AMSRO members.
MRQA Vision
To be the standard for excellence in market research
within Australia

To provide assurance to market research buyers
that a company displaying the MRQA brand will
always achieve a high standard of quality
and professionalism in relation to the conduct
of market research.

To develop and maintain a value proposition
that will demand respect, quality assurance
and where possible a price premium for those
market research companies displaying the MRQA
Brand.

To drive the continuous improvement of market
research quality, with a particular focus
on field work standards, within Australia.

To promote a continuous improvement philosophy
within the market research industry such that
"just meeting the standards" is
never enough - striving for excellence is
the goal..
MRQA Positioning Statement
Market Research only continues to flourish as
a viable industry if quality levels are maintained
and improved. The MRQA role is to not only set,
monitor and drive these standards but to ensure
that companies who carry our brand benefit from
the effort and expense that they incur in meeting
and maintaining MRQA quality standards.

We work with Australian Standards and the
International Standards for Market Research

We will work with the market research industry
to maintain and improve the quality of the
product provided by the MRQA accredited company

We will work with buyers to promote the
value of the MRQA brand and the benefits associated
with the quality assurance that it brings
to them

members to ensure that they understand the
value behind being a MRQA company and offer
them support in selling this value to their
clients

We will actively work to increase the awareness
of MRQA and promote the value in quality assurance
that our brand offers amongst all market research
stakeholders

evaluate the international best practice for
market research excellence and use this to
set the standards in Australia

We will provide the administrative capability
to implement the standards of excellence

We will, however keep a firm focus on the
cost of participation and ensure that the
costs of accreditation are maintained at cost
effective levels.
